47th Congress of the International Sports Committee for the Deaf (ICSD)

In the city of Sondrio (Italy), from December 9 to 11, 2019, the 47th Congress of the International Sports Committee for the Deaf (ICSD) was held.
The Deaflympics Congress is the highest deliberative body of the international Deaflympics movement, which traces its history back to the time of Mr. Rubens-Alcais Eugene (FRA), on which strategic plans and tasks are indicated.
The work of the executive committee of ICSD was very difficult, since hundreds of sports leaders of international organizations and representatives of public organizations took part in the Congress.
The delegates had their own suggestions and disagreements in the development of the sport of the deaf.
At the 47th ICSD Congress, Mr. Chen Kang (Taipei, Taiwan) was elected president of this organization.
