Earlier we presented you a video about the 1st and 2nd DIFA Congress, which took place in 2011 and 2017.
The 1st DIFA Congress was held in 2011 in Orebro (Sweden). The event was attended by delegates from 21 countries. During the Congress, the participants supported the initiative to create a DIFA.
The 2nd DIFA Congress was held on November 29, 2017 in Bangkok (Thailand), in which delegates from 22 countries of the world took part: Bahrain, China, Indonesia, Germany, Greece, Italy, Kazakhstan, Kuwait, Korea, Malaysia, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Sweden, the United Arab Emirates, Uzbekistan and other countries. During the Congress, delegates listened to the report of the President and Executive Committee of DIFA on the organization’s activities from 2011 to 2017, adopted changes to the organization’s charter and the Deaf Football Development Program for 2018-2022, and considered various proposals for the development of deaf football.
The next congress of the DIFA, at which the presidential and executive committee elections will be held, should be held in March-April 2022, either during the planned World Youth Championships, or as a separate international event.
We thank all the delegates who participated in all DIFA Congresses for their contribution to the development of deaf football in the world. We appeal to each national deaf sports federation for assistance in the development of football and the futsal of the deaf. DIFA is always open for cooperation and is ready to provide professional and advisory assistance. Together – we are force! Together we can do a lot!
