The Asian Pacific Deaf Sports Confederations (APDSC) and Korean Football Association for the Disabled will host the upcoming the 4th Asia Pacific Deaf Football Championships in Changwon, Korea from 23 April to 6 May 2018. The expected number of APDSC participants: (12 MEN teams) Korea, Japan, Thailand, Nepal, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Afghanistan, Kazakhstan, Iraq, North Korea, Malaysia and (3 WOMEN teams) Korea, Japan and Nepal.
The 1st hosted country was held in Bangkok, Thailand in 2006 which 8 men teams participated. The 2nd was held in Changwon, Korea in 2011 which 10 men participated. And, the 3rd with 4 men teams participated in Kishi, Iran in 2014.

“In this sense, the event will be held in Changwon, Korea. As a festival for Deaf people in Asia and the Pacific, the border and pride of the Republic of Korea it is heightened.
We warmly welcome you, and the athletes will have the opportunity to make this event the best opportunity. Please spread our as much as you can, and please do your best to play fair and cool.
Finally, I would like to thank all the officials, sign language interpreters and volunteers who have carefully prepared for this event. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all the athletes.”
Deaf International Football Association (DIFA) will observe the Asia Pacific Deaf Football Championships from 30 April to 1 May 2018, planning to bring presentations, implementing strategy, marketing and promotion plan, as well as a guide to identifying and securing sponsors.
“Each country and region is faced with similar but different challenges. However, the tools and templates we are able to provide them through this seminar enables all of our delegates to return home and be engaged in organising their Deaf Football and Futsal plan in future,” said DIFA President Iakov Frenkel.
Asia Pacific Deaf Sports Confederation (APDSC) is affiliated member of the International Committee of Sports for the Deaf (ICSD).
