DIFA has issued an official statement saying that the Polish Deaf Sports Federation has submitted an official application to host the +40 Veterans Futsal World Cup on August 12-20, 2022, in Warsaw, Poland.
I am sure that the organization and holding of the Futsal World Cup will lead to the popularization of this sport, – said the President of the International Football Association Yakov Frenkel.
The idea of holding a futsal tournament for +40 veterans in Poland originated back in 2021 and will be held in this country for the first time in 2022.
24 teams applied for participation in the Cup. The teams of Serbia, Israel and Pakistan are in reserve.
