DIFA will be divided into four confederations that will govern football competitions at continental and regional levels around the world. National federations are both members of DIFA and their regional confederations to participate in competitions under the auspices of DIFA.
DIFA plans 4 regional associations and is as follows:
– European Deaf Football Associations – Europe
– North and South American Deaf Football Confederation
– African Deaf Football Confederation – Africa (DAFC)
– Asian Deaf Football Confederation – Asia and Australia (ADFF)
In total, DIFA includes 55 national sports federations and deaf football associations. The DIFA national team rankings are updated following the Deaf Football and Futsal Championships and rank teams based on their performance in international competitions at all levels. A similar ranking exists among DIFA women’s teams.
